MinnMATYC is the Minnesota affiliate of AMATYC (American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges). The group was formed in 1990 through the efforts of Minnesota two year college faculty. MinnMATYC has three objectives:
- To provide the two year college mathematics instructors with a means of identifying and solving problems of mutual concern.
- To work cooperatively with other professional associations and institutions concerned with mathematics at all levels in the state of Minnesota.
- To promote improved teaching and understanding of mathematics.
