We are excited to confirm that we will be having a MinnMATYC meeting on Friday, April 17, from 2 to 4 pm. We will be hosting the meeting at Anoka-Ramsey’s Rapids campus, but you will also be able to attend via Zoom. The agenda will include:
An update and a discussion about the recently published ACPC Recommendations for Course Placement
See the attachment for more details
An update on the Developmental Education Corequisite Project with break out rooms for sharing and collaborating
College Algebra
Statistics
Quantitative Reasoning
Technical Programs
Asynchronous Online Courses
Fall meeting options, including the possibility of enhanced collaborations with MNADE and ABE
Additional agenda items by demand
Don’t forget:
MCTM is meeting in Duluth on April 24 & 25
Since 94.8% of MinnMATYC members reported (in a fictitious survey) that meeting in person with friends and colleagues was more fun than meeting via Zoom, please join us at Anoka-Ramsey if you can. If traveling to Anoka-Ramsey is impractical, reach out to colleagues at your campus or in your neck of the woods to meet in person to join us via Zoom. (Please let me (mark.omodt@anokaramsey.edu ) know if you are hosting a satellite meeting party so that we can let others know.)
We are looking forward to seeing many MinnMATYC friends soon!
